Oscars 2016 – Red Carpet

Every year, the Academy Awards deliver a night of unforgettable fashion. Sometimes the gowns are burned into our memories, for better or for worse. The 2016 Oscars red carpet brought out the biggest names and the most glamorous fashion. Bright colours, backless gowns and embellishments galore held strong as red carpet trends at the Oscars this year, but, as always, there were stand out surprises in store from some of Hollywood’s A list stars.

Movie stats took the plunge for Oscars, offering gowns in an array of silhouettes — all with deep V-necks that went from daring to more daring.

Offwhite clothing is making a serious comeback. When it comes to style, sometimes less really is more, the power of taking a minimal approach should not be underestimated.
